The Vega BWD5-40 combines a 1.2 kW permanent-magnet motor with variable-speed pressure control for clean-water supply systems. It adjusts pump speed as demand changes to maintain the selected pressure, making it a practical option for tank-fed homes, buildings and irrigation systems sized to its working duty.

Maximum flow and maximum head are separate endpoints; they are not available simultaneously. Select the pump using the required working flow and total dynamic head, including elevation, pipework and filter losses. Power consumption depends on the actual installation and operating duty.

Installation and what is included
This listing is for one Vega BWD5-40 booster pump assembly with integrated VSD control. Prime the pump before operation and provide a suitable clean-water suction supply. Have the electrical connection, earthing and system commissioning completed by a qualified installer. Install the pump in a suitably ventilated, protected location.
A twin-pump system requires a second compatible pump and the appropriate linking connections and pipework. Size the installation to the selected working pressure and consult the operating manual before commissioning.
