Ozone Air Dryer Filter

Protect your ozone generator with cleaner, drier intake air.

The Ozone Air Dryer Filter is a passive inline air-treatment accessory designed for air-fed ozone generators. Incoming air passes through indicating silica-gel beads that adsorb water vapour before it reaches the ozone generator. Reducing moisture helps limit condensation, corrosion and performance loss inside sensitive ozone-generation components.

Colour-Indicating Silica Gel

The silica beads are blue to purple while dry and gradually change towards pink as they absorb moisture. When the media has changed colour substantially, it should be regenerated or replaced before continued use.

Installation

• Install the dryer on the intake-air side of the ozone generator.
• Connect the air source or atmospheric intake to one hose barb and the ozone generator air inlet to the other.
• Keep the cylinder supported horizontally on its mounting feet.
• Use only on a clean, low-pressure or vacuum air line.
• Check that the tubing is secure, dry and free from kinks before operating the ozone generator.

Care and Regeneration

• Monitor the media colour regularly, particularly in humid environments.
• Regenerate or replace the silica beads when they turn pink or when ozone performance begins to decline.
• Follow the silica-media supplier's regeneration instructions.
• Do not place the complete assembled dryer in an oven or microwave. The housing contains plastic and metal components; remove the serviceable media before any approved heating procedure.
• Allow regenerated media to cool completely in a dry environment before refilling and reconnecting the unit.

Important Use Information

This product is an air-preparation accessory only. It is not an ozone generator, water filter or pressure vessel. Do not install it in a pressurised water line, on the ozone-gas outlet or in any application exceeding the ozone-system manufacturer's permitted intake pressure.
