Frequently Asked Questions

How do I identify my Runxin valve model?
  • Check the silver/white data label on the head; the model (e.g., F56A, F63B, F67C, F63P) is printed near the barcode or serial.
  • Take a clear photo of the front and side of the valve and email us—we’ll confirm the model.
  • Note the tank thread (typically 2½" neck on domestic FRP) and plumbing thread (often 1" BSP on domestic systems).
Time-based vs meter-based programming—what should I use?

Filters often regenerate (backwash/rinse) on time, while softeners usually regenerate by volume (meter-initiated). If your water load varies, a meter-based mode reduces water use and salt consumption.

Can I use the same head for filters and softeners?

Some models have specific internal porting and regeneration steps for softeners (“P” variants) versus filters. Always choose the correct variant to ensure proper cycle sequencing.
