AFM® (Activated Filter Media) & Vessels

AFM® (Activated Filter Media) by Dryden Aqua is an advanced, sustainable filtration media made from recycled green glass, engineered to replace traditional sand or crushed glass in virtually all water treatment systems. Through a patented activation process, AFM® is rendered bio-resistant, self-sterilising, and capable of removing finer particles, reducing bacterial growth, and dramatically lowering chlorine demand and backwash frequency.

AFM® is suitable for use in residential, commercial, and industrial applications including borehole filtration, drinking water treatment, swimming pools, and pre-RO protection. It is NSF certified for potable water and compatible with all standard FRP filter vessels.

This collection includes:

AFM® Grade 0 – Ultra-fine media for critical filtration down to 1 micron
AFM® Grade 1 – Standard fine filtration for most systems
AFM® Grade 2 – Intermediate/support layer in multi-layer beds
AFM® Grade 3 – Coarse support layer or under-bed media
Sold in 25kg bags – Also available per vessel size specification
AFM® Loading Charts & Layering Guidelines – Available on request
AFM® +Z (on request) – Enhanced version with catalytic surface for metals and organics
