Katalox Light® is an advanced filtration media developed in Germany, engineered with a unique MnO2 coating technique on ZEOSORB® & is being used in numerous systems for residential, commercial, industrial & municipal applications worldwide.
Advanced filtration media with a high content MnO2 coating (10%) & a very high surface area
Removal of Iron, Manganese & Hydrogen Sulfide with reduction of Arsenic, Zinc, Copper, Lead, Radium, Uranium, radionuclides & other heavy metals
Does not require mandatory dosing & contains no crystalline silica
Media is lightweight & cost-effective, saving on backwash water, only requiring replacement every 7-10years
Tested & certified by the Water Quality Association according to the NSF/ ANSI 61 standard for drinking water applications
