Choosing the correct tank

The stated 36 L is the nominal tank volume, rather than the amount of usable water delivered between pump starts. Available drawdown depends on the air pre-charge and the system’s operating pressures. Select the tank for the pump duty, control settings and available installation space.

Installation and maintenance

Use a suitably supported installation with compatible pipework and a pressure-control arrangement appropriate to the pump. Set and check the air pre-charge to suit the system design before commissioning. Confirm the water connection, mounting clearances and temperature limits for the supplied unit. Isolate the pump and fully depressurise the tank before maintenance.
