Darlly Antibacterial 1 Micron Meltblown Sediment Cartridges – 10-Inch Slimline & 20-Inch Big Blue

Darlly antibacterial 1 micron meltblown sediment cartridges combine fine polypropylene depth filtration with a silver-ion antibacterial additive incorporated into the filter media. They reduce fine suspended particles such as sand, silt and rust while helping to inhibit bacterial growth within the cartridge media.

Choose the cartridge or multipack option that matches your filter housing. A smaller micron rating captures finer particles; this 1 micron range is intended for fine sediment polishing and performs best where coarser sediment is removed upstream.

• 10-inch Slimline: approximately 248–254 mm long, depending on the housing standard, approximately 63 mm outside diameter
• 20-inch Big Blue: 508 mm nominal length, approximately 115 mm outside diameter
• Confirm the housing length and diameter before ordering; Slimline and Big Blue cartridges are not interchangeable

Understanding Micron Ratings

• A smaller micron number provides finer particle filtration but may block sooner where sediment levels are high
• 0.5–1 micron: fine sediment polishing, normally after coarser prefiltration
• 5 micron: a popular general-purpose choice for domestic sediment filtration
• 10–20 micron: medium prefiltration that balances particle removal and flow
• 50–100 micron: coarse prefiltration for larger suspended particles and heavier sediment loads
• Micron rating describes particle filtration; it does not indicate removal of dissolved substances

Installation and Replacement

• Shut off the water supply and depressurise the housing before opening it
• Replace the cartridge when flow reduces, differential pressure rises or sediment begins to pass through
• Replacement frequency depends on water quality, consumption and sediment load

• The antibacterial additive is intended to inhibit bacterial growth within the cartridge media
• This cartridge does not disinfect water and does not replace UV, chlorination or another validated disinfection process
• It does not remove dissolved salts or TDS
