AFM® Grade 2 is a medium‑coarse activated glass filter medium designed to replace or supplement sand beds. With particles sized between 1.0 and 2.0 mm, this Grade 2 media is ideal for support layers or for filters that need both flow and filtration. The activation process gives the glass media bio‑resistance, high surface area, and enhanced filter performance. A 25 kg bag provides enough material for standard filters or partial media upgrades.
